By train or bus
The train station and the bus station are just over 1 km from the Ariamarina.From there it is possible to arrive on foot in about 15 minutes, by taxi (€ 10) or by bus 24 http://www.triestetrasporti.it/orari-e-percorsi/linee-e-ari/linea-24 stops a few meters from the front door.
In the car
Trieste can be reached by car either via the A4 motorway from Venice-Mestre or the A23 motorway from Tarvisio-Austria, with the Lisert exit.
After the toll booth, continue along the motorway and exit at Sistiana-Strada Costiera (after about 16 km). You arrive on the SS 14, panoramic coastal road, which leads directly into the city center (18 km).
Entering the city, follow the banks, always keeping the sea on the right.At the first traffic light after Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia turn left, take the first on the right and then the first on the left. After about 100 meters you are in Via Madonna del Mare.

You can reach the city from the airports of Trieste / FVG (33 km), Venice (120 km) and Ljubljana, Slovenia (90 km).
The Trieste / FVG airport offers daily direct connections to the main Italian cities as well as to Monaco and London. Arrived there, the extraurban line 51 connects the airport to the Trieste railway station every half hour (€ 4). Alternatively, the taxi service from the airport is available from 8 to 24, calling the number +39 0481 778000 (€ 60).
The Marco Polo airport in Venice is connected to the Venice-Mestre railway station with a shuttle service (lasting one hour). From the station you can reach the center of Trieste in about two hours.
